I founded Crit Fails and Fairy Tales, and I have been running tabletop games for over ten years. These days I run seven campaigns a week, which means I am testing this stuff live and constantly rather than theorising about it.

My games run in Londorwin, a homebrew world I built from the ground up and have been adding to for years. Every campaign I run takes place somewhere in its timeline, so characters and events from one table show up in another and the world genuinely changes based on what players do in it. If your party topples something in one campaign, a later group will find the hole it left.

I build the story around the characters rather than the other way round. You bring me a backstory and I will weave it into the plot instead of parking it, and we run session zeros first so I know what you actually want out of the game before anything starts. Expect a mix of roleplay, combat, dungeon crawls and puzzles across a full level 1 to 20 campaign.

I also teach the Dungeon Masters here, so if you want to learn to run games like this rather than play in one, that is what Crit Fails Academy is for.
