Meet the Dungeon Masters

Profiles for every professional Dungeon Master at Crit Fails and Fairy Tales: the systems they run, the worlds they built, session length and campaign length.

Crit Fails and Fairy Tales is a team of professional Dungeon Masters, not a marketplace. Each one applied, was interviewed, and runs games to a shared standard: a real session zero, player backstories woven into the plot, and a campaign that responds to what the party does.

What they do not share is a style. One runs grimdark Shadowdark and Mothership. One runs Pokemon Tabletop United. One has been running games since third edition. Read the profiles and pick the table you actually want to sit at, then ask us about seats.

Beriweyr

Heists in Waterdeep, horror in Barovia, spelljamming, and Star Trek if fantasy is not the mood.

Comfortable Grey

Two decades of DMing across a lot of rulebooks, starting with D&D 3e at ten years old.

Lawful Cherry

Dark, gritty, cinematic. Shadowdark and Mothership, with the silliness left in.
